We undertook a visual inspection of the property to examine the type of construction present and identify methods for improving energy efficiency that would work in harmony with the traditional building materials.
This study looked specifically at the upgrading of building fabric to reduce heat loss. A simple 3-dimensional model of the property was created to assist with the energy analysis. It briefly reviewed options for renewable technology for the generation and supply of heat. Various technologies are available, and the capital costs and fuel costs are readily identifiable.

During the inspection outlined above, various maintenance and repair issues were observed. Although not part of the service, we have highlighted these issues for the benefit of the client so that they have information about their building and potential expenditure that may be incurred in coming years.
