Geddes house is a late 18th century early 19th century Georgian house that has been remarkably well looked after since it was first built. It has beautifully decorated formal rooms with some wonderful detailing.
MAAC Studio are delighted to have been able to help the family to obtain listed building consent for the redevelopment of the basement area and the reorganisation of the family kitchen that includes a new doorway to link the family kitchen to the garden area.

The proposals include the creation of a traditional flying stair across the basement well.
The building has a striking character and it was important to ensure that the new proposals would be designed in sensitive way that would complement and enhance the architectural heritage.
We now move onto the next stage, preparing the technical documents and details to carry out the work.
