The much-maligned Bridge Street development has long been a target for criticism. While the building in its current form may be out of step with the Inverness of the twenty first century, it is wrong to claim that it is beyond redemption and must be destroyed.
This is one of my favourite buildings around Inverness, it is a little community building in Farr. Designed and built 10 years ago by Neil Sutherland Architects it has matured in its woodland setting beautifully. If you are looking for a day out, this is delightful place to visit.

April 16th is the anniversary of the Battle of Culloden. As it happens, 2018 is also the 10 year anniversary of the opening of the visitor centre.
